ABOUT ME

I live in North Bristol with my two lovely teenage sons & gorgeous red collie.

I love the process of making jewellery. I enjoy working directly with my materials using quite old school techniques, manipulating metal using hammers & fire, understanding its strength and exploring its potential. My workshop is a wonderful mix of both modern and traditional jewellery equipment. I love my collection of tools and am always on the lookout for more!

I can spend many happy hours in my garden workshop with music & my dog for company. My work combines two main elements, creating bespoke pieces for customers and teaching jewellery making. I love both parts equally and together they give balance to my working life. The workshops I run are sociable & fun and give me the opportunity to share all the aspects I love about jewellery making with enthusiastic students. It is hugely satisfying seeing the pride in someone’s face when they achieve something they thought wasn’t possible. The bespoke side of my business gives me the space to explore and create. I love the challenge of working to a brief and the variety that working on commissions brings.

I am very conscious of the impact the jewellery industry has on the environment. I am committed to using recycled metals and ethically sourced gemstones and am a proud member of the Fairtrade Gold registration scheme for small businesses.
